This project was started when the mother of boy-girl twins decided that a redesign of their shared bedroom would help them stop sleeping with her! She also wanted a dedicated homework station, and storage for books. Since she wanted to upgrade them to full-size beds, a full-over-full bunk bed was the only solution, leaving space for 2 desks and storage. The kids could not agree on decor, so we went with mom’s love of everything farmhouse! The use of 2 plaids and a gender-neutral color scheme of blue, white, sage, and brown makes this room fun for the kids now, something that can grow with them, and something that mom likes, too!
